I'm pushing 19psi (stock) and I agree it's a bit loud, but it's nowhere near as loud as some people who use aftermarket. Mine isn't too noisy: YouTube - Injen SRI + GReddy Informeter Touch on Evo X MR (AUDM) ... but then this is from inside the car.

I'm asking more in general whether people think they are or aren't cool considering there are some guys who purposely get a much louder atmo ventilated BOV... or worse, some people buy the fake BOV speakers and fit it to their car *shudder* I personally have my stock BOV and it's already quite...

Agreed but that being said, I have seen some turbocharged Charades and 4G63 Protons/Mirages.

That reminds me, there is a Toyota Owners Club meet in Castle Hill today so I saw a few done up Rollas on my way through :)

Hmm... haven't ever driven an XR5T (my boss drives one though). Looks alright but isn't my kind of car. For that money I would probably consider the new Golf R which is around $49k not including onroads according to this week's SMH Drive.

It doesn't look that bad and like I said, pretty good sleeper:

I don't know if there were any other changes to the car's handling/suspension but if I were looking for a sleeper and was on my P's, I would probably go for the Corolla Sportivo still.

Depends on your own tastes... I'm over the whole bodykit thing due to the huge impracticalities they present in daily driving BUT they definitely can make a car look a lot better/more menacing/exciting.

One thing I noticed is the new Mazdas are going to be very difficult to mod> I can't imagine any decent kits coming out which won't fundamentally rework the lines and styling (i.e. you'll need to spend a LOT to get a coherent looking kit).

The Sportivo Rolla is a pretty good 'sleeper' and P-plate friendly car. I think they stopped making it but it was comparable to Type R's in stock form and were a pretty good deal for <$30k a few years back. ps. I'm talking about the Corolla with 140kW or so with the Celica engine and TRD exhaust.

    Bachelor of commerce

Bachelor of Accounting is the coop program offered by UTS which is basically a normal uni degree in the same time period but they cram in a few work placements. That is, you'll be doing courses in holidays/overloading in order to do the work placement but you get good diverse experience. As...

    Accounting Job Prospects?

Of course you can apply for them. And remember that cadetships are targeted at year 12 students, and only where there is a need to do an additional top up of recruitment, will they offer it to first year students. Typically the number of positions is far more limited when they are offering it to...

    Accounting Cadetships 2011 Intake

Read the websites and follow whatever instructions they have. It's very well possible that you only need to fill in a hardcopy of the form and mail it in (I know I did this back in 2005 for Moore Stephens). As for Clark & Jacobs... never heard of, but if that's all the website requires for now...

42" TV - LED or LCD

I agree you can't buy on specs. IMO set your budget and go to JB Hifi and haggle. You should be able to get at least 40" LCD's from the Samsung/etcs for somewhere around the same price as what you're mentioning considering that 50" Samsung plasmas are a dollar or two under the $1k mark. ps...

    iPhone 4 - 4th Gen iPhone

Nope. Definitely not worth the hassle and driver issues. Even if you have a PC which has a lot of hackintosh support (e.g. my Dell Mini9 has an almost cult like following for Mac OS X installations), it'll be painful and with limited reward. But then that being said, back in high school I was...

Smaller turbo and better power/torque curves a key factor I'd say. Kinda like a Ralliart lancer can outgun an Evo X in certain circumstances.
