Are you allowed to use a V8 in the P's test?

Aren't light trucks covered by a different licence?

Are you allowed to use a V8 in the P's test?

I don't think gender will really matter if someone is doing their test in an R34 with huge chromies. lols.

Are you allowed to use a V8 in the P's test?

Maybe so, but I reckon all other factors held equal, the good kid driving a Corolla is probably going to be less likely to create a preexisting disposition/bias than the hard**** with a R34 GTR or S15.

Are you allowed to use a V8 in the P's test?

But under supervision is a totally different thing when driving a powerful car.

    I finally drove a V8...

I really gotta drive a Holden V8 one day... on my todo list.

Are you allowed to use a V8 in the P's test?

I also think you can use it for your P's test but best to double check with your local RTA first (also take down the name of the person you speak to in case you need to argue/prove a point later).

    Hoon Laws & Our opinions.

That being said, a Skyline still is pretty decent even in N/A guise for a new driver.... but regardless of that point, any car can be turned into a hoon-car if the driver so desires, but I feel that at least in a lower powered car, it removes some of the temptation (or the ability). I know if...

Parking sensors and doing the P's test

I feel this topic brings up the issue; Where modern technology can improve and/or aid our driving ability (where I use the term 'driving' to encompass all aspects of practical day to day driving which the drivers licence covers), should it be permitted in the driving test? Or does this increase...

    Hoon Laws & Our opinions.

Power to weight ratio is definitely the way to go. After driving some high powered cars I can see why we wouldn't want inexperienced drivers taking the helm of them especially when they are still in their 'developing their senses' stage. Yes it sounds stupid but even in my experience, when I was...

    Ideal phone for university students

I'm a huge Nokia fan. Not sure how the new direction of Nokia products is going. I personally use all their business phones (currently using an E71 and E51). Only downside is camera sucks on business phones as you'd expect but the E71 has a beautiful keyboard to use and it works great with...

    Fuel Consumption

All I know is I wish all servos and petrol brands agreed on homogeneous products and content so they can have consistent naming conventions everywhere.

lol my aforementioned story was in the hills district too- near the homemaker centre lolz. as for ur story, that's like when i was next to an s2k on parra rd, maybe doing 5-10km/h over the speed limit but not enough to warrant anything... the s2k sees the reflection of the police sign on the...

    Fuel Consumption

Happened to my local Caltex. But what happened to the good ol' days where premium unleaded was 4c and 8c premiums over regular unleaded. Sigh.

    Hoon Laws & Our opinions.

Back to original topic, I was being bloody tailgated by a stupid R32 Golf today and the moment we turned a corner he pulled up next to me then floored it. Sigh. P plater too. Impound his car yo.

    Fuel Consumption

Did either of you guys consider maybe I took that photo purely for the purposes of posting it here in this thread and I wasn't at a petrol station? Sigh.

    Fuel Consumption

Both my cars have compression ratios of 10.5:1 so they should in theory both benefit considerably from it. I have to admit I do feel good pumping Vpower :)

    Fuel Consumption

I used 98 about 50% of the time in my Civic FD 1.8L (current model Civic) and found that it had slightly better acceleration and fuel economy, but even then, it had a very small difference because I found that you tend to make more use of the slightly better acceleration when you have 98 which...

You use 98 Octane in a Baleno? Does it improve performance much apart from the fuel economy?
