    which car?

I agree at that omission but you make it sound as if it's impossible to get better safety on the base model. The mid-range model (VTi-L) is a $3.5k premium over the base VTi offers the side airbags (along with the stacker, steering wheel controls, alloys, climate control) so it's not like it's...

    Cadetships 2008/09

Re: Cadetships 2007 Btw when I say book keeping.. i meant more of a, the actual "accounting for the client" or "preparing client accounts" kindof thing which the smaller middle market groups may focus on. And, that's just my experience. I've got friends across the spectrum and everyone...

    Cadetships 2008/09

Re: Cadetships 2007 Assurance/Audit Pros: - opportunity to learn the most from different business practices - learn to understand risk and business as a whole - opportunity to travel - requires A LOT of client interaction and listening/talking to clients (incl. social functions and...

    which car?

Oh... ok my mistake then. I guess I'll have to look more closely next time- but in all fairness, they had a base model sedan and the flagship $33k hatch open at the time! Not like I had anything else to compare with :P

    which car?

I think there's a difference between Options you're talking about (e.g. when BMW charges $6k for satnav) and the Spec-level which I'm referring to which aren't really options but rather; the three spec levels (VTi, VTi-L and Sport). And whilst I agree that VTi-L's resale value will probably not...

    which car?

Cool. I suggest you consider the VTi-L actually... whilst I never realised this until now, after riding in my mate's VTi, little things like the climate control, steering wheel audio controls, 6 stacker mp3/wma cd, split fold rear seat, etc... do become more noticeable. Subtle or unimportant...

    which car?

You sure? I distinctly remember the salesman telling me it's the same except for the $30K+ models which feature digital dash and I remember sitting in the bucket seats noticing the centre console had nicer finish/trim too in the flagship.

    which car?

You sure you weren't looking at the flagship models? The interior in the base model feels cheap and forced together by a budget.

    P1 Restrictions coming July07!

Whoever is driving :) Whether it be me, my cousins, my uncle, etc.. (but not my rents- they never speed).

    car audio problem

LOL I only have 1 12" and it's a 200w subwoofer... and I get the rear window becoming a nice little blur when I turn up the sub. It's a nice resonance throughout the car, with an even nicer massage if you're sitting in the back.

    Co-op vs Cadetship

Take a step back and think about what assurance actually involves from a high level perspective. As auditors, we are giving an audit opinion which is inserted into the financial statements to say that the financial figures the person is reading are a true and fair view of the company's actual...

    P1 Restrictions coming July07!

The way you post it sounds as if you're going to go for that speed limit regardless of whether or not conditions are suitable for it; and that's just wrecklessly irresponsible. Whilst I know where you're coming from with the speed limits sometimes being unnecessarily slow, it doesn't mean I'm...

    which car?

LOL... it depends on the version of Vtec. The iVtec in the new Civic (1.8) seems to work pretty consistently in either standard or premium unleaded. A well run-in Civic also performs alot better than when it's new. Can't comment as I haven't actually driven the new Corolla.

    P1 Restrictions coming July07!

Oh i get what you mean. Same here. But it doesn't mean I'm going to proudly and intentionally break the speed limits for the sake of it... and before you call me a hypocrite CieL, we do it in a safer manner (ahaha yes I know) than most people do; and unlike people who normally speed up to...

    car audio problem

    1. I'm using the white light halogens because didn't want to change the wiring to HIDs nor potentially void the warranty of the Civic. For my bulbs I got 'em for $100; watch out for elcheapo crap at shops like Autojoy which cost half the price but last a couple of months before ****ing up (and...

    0-100 Km/H Dash - Times

Is SI that good? I heard that it's even more overrated than V-tec.... i guess it'll be interesting to see how much impact SI has on the new W(ugh)X.

Please explain to me how the zero tolerance on speeding doesn't apply to you?

    Are supras good?

Supras are quite hard to find aren't they? And the ones which are available in dodgy lots could very well have had quite a few beatings.

    0-100 Km/H Dash - Times

I find it interesting to note that after we sink $20k+ into each of our cars (or more for the competition entries), our 0-100 times aren't that much faster than some of the ones posted here (e.g. our lightweight FairladyZ does 0-100 in 5)... but then apart from the drag car, we tend to tune for...
