    P1 Restrictions coming July07!

At $40/hr for many "second job" style driving instructors who don't pay tax on this income (as they do not declare) and with the huge increased demand thanks to the higher requirements, as well as potential for night-driving students.... the potential money there is quite good!

    which car?

No worries mate. If you're going Manual and you like the Corolla interior- then go for it. It's a pretty snazzy car and if you can live with the 'image' of driving whitegoods, then you might enjoy it. I like the gear shift positioning in it (it's nicer than the Civic's location for a manual-...

    which car?

Wow... good comparo, I test drove all three of those because I was looking at those. I'm not sure if you realise this but in your comparo you have the base model Civic VTi which is considerably cheaper than the others which are the premium models. Nonetheless I'd pick the Civic not just on price...

    Co-op vs Cadetship

If u're willing to take a step back a bit (ie. go from been say an UG2 to an UG1) because you won't be experienced in the area, then it's not too difficult. I know quite a few ppl who changed from tax to assurance (both cadets and grads). If you change from within assurance to another BU (ie...

    Co-op vs Cadetship

That is so 2 months ago... Considering everyone from Big4 has forwarded it to me, I don't even need to watch it to know what it is. LOL. Sigh, I guess it's our turn to take the beating... bring back the KPMG theme song!

    Co-op vs Cadetship

LOL it's kindof annoying... and stalkerish! Seriously though if there is a rather basic/generic question, either post it in one of the many cadetship threads or if you must, PM me on BoS.

In case you guys did'nt read the news today or see it on TV, the government is backing down on the LCT fines; Source: http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/nsw-in-reverse-over-tunnel-fines/2007/05/30/1180205299954.html

    P1 Restrictions coming July07!

My rear uses the magnetic one- I think that kindof scratches the paint a bit when you take it on/off, but it's better than the plastic one. Still not sure what to do about the front; I guess I'll take CieL's route and get the holder. Please tell us the price when you find them CieL! I'm also...

    P1 Restrictions coming July07!

I prefer the interior ones... people can't nick them, they don't fly off, and they'll always be there (unless they fall off.. which hasn't happened yet).

    Co-op vs Cadetship

I think I will say something which needs to be said for those who are too lazy to read the rest of the thread; Coop and cadetships are both excellent programs, and neither one is better than other; but rather, depending on the type of person you are, your current career objectives and goals...

    P1 Restrictions coming July07!

I also got the thing from the RTA and my first reaction was "oh ****!"... luckily the only thing applicable to me is the P plates display; although that means my interior sticky plates are going to go to waste and my car is going to look fugly with a shitty metallic stick on plate out the front...

    car audio problem

Even my 200w sub has boot rattle lol.... it's damn annoying but I cbf to get sound deadening. As for the lights flickering- my boot light flickers a bit when I turn the sub up... but it's very minor; doesn't affect anything else... but the headlights on the Civic are naturally very weak so I...

    Cadetships 2008/09

Re: Cadetships 2007 LOL I was there... met quite a few BoSers and I'm surprised they figured out who I was... some could even quote my UAI and my subjects from my signature...? Scary isn't it! jkjk. The food got better once you guys all left! There was like.. fish things, satays, alcohol...

    Accounting - question

As I don't attend UTS or UWS I can't really comment on how their courses work but at least in my experience with B Comm at UNSW, for first year at least, the work is very theoretical and it depends on your major. Accounting has close to zero maths except for a few very basic formulae (which...

    Cadetships 2008/09

Re: Cadetships 2007 To the best of my knowledge, the applications should be available and working online. PwC for example, go to http://www.pwc.com/au/careers and click on Traineeships, then Apply Online Opportunities across all divisions (it's the third box from the left with the graphics...

    Top 'speed' done and where?

Durrrr 180 > 150!!!! Dun u get ma logic bro? EDIT: Actually... is ratio really that important? I mean, doing 240km/h in a 120 zone seems more dangerous than doing 170 in an 80 zone.
