I know some firms (eg. mine) don't reward undergrad/grad recruitments... well I don't think they do. So I doubt vaccy will be worth much.
And... doesn't it make you look bad if your name comes up on heaps of application's referral, but they are crappy candidates?
I try giving the stare... but some fobs just don't get it.
I will add though, that was last semester. Somehow when I'm at uni wearing a suit- if I give someone the stare, they tend to notice.
Fair enough :)
As I said in the PM to your friend, I wasn't doubting how you got it or anything- I just know that if you are under 24, you need to be on like $60k+ income (I know this because I asked at one of those stands in the shops).
I don't even think he has a job or any intention of a job... so I've made that assumption- also based on his character.
I'm wondering about what you said- but I'm pretty sure it's not that. It's a hot car I admit, but it's not something which bugs me. I'm not sure why but things like him...
Thanks for the advice, but I'm a hypocrite- technically my parents paid for my car (it was a promised reward for HSC though). Sure I pay for the stuff I add to it, and I give my Mum "pocket money" from my salary, but technically I'm still no better than him.
I just can't help but think he's...
I hate the queues at St George... I mean they spent so much $$ on advertising- can't they just hire more people to work the tellers?!
... as for AMEX. If you finished HSC in my year (2005), you're probably 18 or 19? I didn't know most 18/19yr olds were eligible for AMEX!
I know the answer to this myself; but sometimes I find myself pondering it.
I'm not even sure how to word it.. but it led me to do a lot of thinking.
There's a guy I know, and he got a new Integra Type S.
I'm thinking I'm jealous... but it goes much deeper than that.
He's the kindof guy...
In some countries... people work nonstop (ie. no weekends) for months; this isn't just IB- but in accounting too (and other industries). Thankfully there's OTIL :)
There are a few who do it even with offers from Big4... but then when they go out to work, they are still on the same salary as regular grads ><
From what I've seen so far with work- uni is more focussed on definitions and technicalities; but the real world (note: audit) is more based on...
I'm not too familiar with Holden naming conventions, but isn't S and SS the performance models which are either V8 or supercharged anyway (ie. if you've got the S badge on there, it's a prohibited vehicle?)- or is there an S without the supercharger?
Back on topic though, I'm guessing he's...
They changed the rules with the St George VISA... if you use it to make VISA withdrawals (ie. EFTPOS transaction and pressing "CR"), then even though they are free, those are deducted from your 10 free transactions per month.
... that being said, it's still a good deal. St George also has a...
I like MoS :)
What I hate? My Mum's Phantom of the Opera OST. That, and oldies Chinese music (the ones you play at Chinese New Year). Not only are they *ugh*, but they're also incredibly distracting with their sudden changes in volume.
I know of some Honours students who were offered scholarships to finish their Masters/Honours (or something like that). Can't remember exact details because I didn't really understand, but it also required them to continue working in the university as well.
In CHERRYBROOK VILLAGE at around 9pm on 2/08/06!
:(
Some sad sad sad person... when I had ducked into Woolworths to buy my Mum some milk.
Sigh.
I guess it happens.
You just proved the point that by having a hotted up car- you attract attention. Probably the opposite of what one would want to do if they're trying to avoid being pulled over by cops don't you reckon?
