    Top 'speed' done and where?

I agree... very dangerous in the wet- but I wonder if it's a good way to test stability/traction control :)

    accounintg firms- cadetships

You could always bring up the point that in BAcc don't you have to study alot more in the sense you guys start uni earlier than the rest of the unis to complete one subject quickly for example? *shrugs* I don't really know much about coops- wasn't ever interested in them. And as for money...

You thought chromies were bling bling????????

You'd do a guy with a nice car? Let's keep this quote for later.

    Top 'speed' done and where?

Isn't that really bad for your car...? I accidentally had a skid yesterday with one of my wheels on leaves/mud (in the rain) after exiting a friend's driveway on a slope (where I accel'd too hard)... not that it was cool or anything >_> Btw any of you guys driven that road which is near...

    Car Reviews

Even within the one site... there isn't necessarily going to be consistency in standards/expectations. I think for a lot of it... it comes down to personal taste. It's like reviewing a movie or music CD- some people will like it, others will hate it; but there generally are elements which...

    Why..?

True that... but I can think of plenty of local specimens which also fit those descriptions whom are doing Commerce :P

    Craptastic predicted UAI

I remember hearing ppl whinge that our school only gave out a standard UAI estimate of 95+ (for all students) which reduced their chances of getting an interview... I wonder how truthful that is, because in the end, not many people from my grade (5 or so i think?) got into UNSW Medicine.

It's disputable about what a layman would notice, but I would- and I like to consider myself a prospective BMW buyer (one day!)... As for A pillar, I'm pretty sure A-pillar is the front two... B-pillar is the middle one between the two doors (front/rear) and C-pillar make the rear. I also...

    Why..?

Haven't you heard? To typical <something> parents, Commerce is the new, easier to get into and more financially rewarding Medicine.

It's a subtle thing which I think subconsciously gives a bit more character to the car. Besides, does the average layman buy a BMW? Btw... is it called the A pillar? I thought A are the front, B in the middle, and C at the back?

That's just one element... but it does add a bit of differentiation to BMWs which other cars (previously) didn't have. I think on the whole, BMWs have the most consistent image over time (for normal luxury sedans)- Mercedes changes quite a bit across their model range although in recent times...

BMW headlights always seem to have a familiar look to them, as is the interior, and the lines on the side... i don't know technical terms, but BMW has a LOT more styling cues which are apparent across their range. Btw isn't that kink near the rear window taken from BMW?

I also noticed something today... there are mobile phones with more pedigree than Lexus.

Brigidine College St Ives Year 12...

I remember going to that last year... but don't really recall any hot chicks :P

LOL it's funny how you can say Camry and Yaris have pedigree- yet Lexus still hasn't quite hit the mark.

LOL @ SLR. That car is friggin expensive. My family was invited to purchase one and then when told the price... >__> Pretty sweet car though.

I also reckon the Yaris (and Yaris Sedan) are pretty kickass for the small car market. If I wanted something small I would definitely have gone for it.

    Bachelor of accounting at uts

Yep definitely. If you can score a cadetship or coop/scholarship in accounting- then it's definitely a good way to get a foot in the door of the industry *thumbs up*.

AGSM @ UNSW No. 1 in Australia

Why do you keep promoting AGSM? o__O... it's borderline of spam now.

The new Camry looks like something I'd expect out of Lexus... which whilst good in terms of looking good, it's not so good in terms of making the Lexus brand anything special. If you pick up certain car magazines there are usually advertisements in the back which feature engines/half cuts I...
