Yup I think N stands for NSW and is a compulsory part of the Euro-plates. A lot of countries (well, I can think of a few) also have the first letter being significant as it's indicative of where the car was registered.

Do you have custom/personalised plates for your car? Sigh the one I want (whilst available) costs $500+ a year :vcross: ... but my cousins back in Malaysia were nice enough to order me official number plates (which are legit over there) for me as a present (and incentive to move back)...

I looked up the specs and it doesn't seem that much faster than C32 (like you said) but it sounds better. I thought it'd be the same as our CL55 in terms of performance but I just read the Benz site and I guess not.
