    BMW new 3series

IIRC wasn't there a significant upgrade to the E46 in 2002/2003?... and that picture looks like the ones towards the end of the E46 before E90.

    fuel prices!

I remember a while ago some service stations charged a flat 4c more for premium (eg. BP)... is that still the same? ANd what car do you drive DaddyK? Does it really benefit much from PULP?

    fuel prices!

They seem to be rising around the world... but grr, wish I had put more fuel in earlier this week when it was cheaper.

    BMW new 3series

After seeing the 3 Series advertisement on TV... the connection between the e46 and the e90 is much easier to see... and it's also a nice add!

    Parramatta: Test

I'm not middle aged though! I mean.. after passing P's first time, I feel a bit cocky/overconfident.

    I finally drove a V8...

You could just get an automatic V12 sedan? I don't think you can get manual V12 sedans... my uncle's 750iL only came in tiptronic.

Speed limiters kick in at 200? o__O I thought they usually kick in at 250. LOL... isn't there also an AMG M-class? If only BMW made an M-X5 or something.

curious: how does B Commerce at Macquarie fair?

Actuarial is known to kick ass at Club Mac :P But yeh, I think it might be harder to find a job later on with a Mac degree (totally unfounded comment here- purely speculative)... unless you already have a cadetship or something. I know quite a few people who are at Mac with a cadetship.

    New Honda Civic

Depends if your Astra is auto or manual. Manual you can probably win, but after driving the Astra in automatic... I'm inclined to think you'd be smoked!

    New Honda Civic

What do you think of engine transplants? I heard they're pretty exp here in Aus.. and I wonder if P platers are even allowed to do that. ... as for old women driving corollas- so do driving instructors^^ Great car to learn in IMO.

    Neons - Illegal?

I was just gonna get simple LEDs underneath the car (I heard they are more durable than Neons)... but then if there's all these problems involved with getting them installed and not getting caught; I'm inclined to think the money could probably be better spent elsewhere on legit stuff (eg. ICE...

    Top 'speed' done and where?

Haha... it's funny how once you've driven a car a bit... the whole "wow this car can accelerate" seems to drop... I'm starting to feel my Civic is a bit sluggish :( ... and my cousins didn't make me feel better by telling me they are considering ordering the new Civic with Integra Type R halfcut...

    Neons - Illegal?

I'm thinking maybe I should just avoid all these neon/LED modifications... the risk (of getting a defect; or even a fine) doesn't seem to be worth it.

    Parramatta: Test

I'm inclined to agree with you. I feel like I'm taking more and more risks...

    Rules regarding P1 License

I think it was referring to the transmission- I figured it was like the point at which the auto transmission changes gears?

    Top 'speed' done and where?

I've always wondered why some LPG taxis seem to feel so smooth when they accelerate~
