it kinda helps if you think about the relationship between the cases. In infectious diseases, an increased amount of cases will result in an even more increased amount of cases, so it’s an exponential relationship. But since this was for a non infectious disease, that relationship wouldn’t make any sense as future cases do not rely on current prevalence/no. cases.But wasn't the data increasing at an exponential rate?
