the palestinians asked for a certain ammount of land in recent years, back when they were "governed" (and i use that word in the loosest possible sense) by arafat and FATAH. the israelis offered them 97% of what they asked for, the remaining 3% comprising of jerusalem and i think hebron. FATAH said no. the leaders of the people enjoy the suffering of the palestinians because it makes them look good in the world's eye, and makes the israeli govt look bad.

i'm not in charge of the peace process, i don't have the answers as to what they get or not. all i can say with certainty tho, is that if they continue to oppose israel violently, then violence is all they will (and deserve to) be treated with. if they try and honestly negotiate peace, israel will jump for joy, and probably declare an annual public holiday.
