If you're in need of some really brutal sounding black metal, have a listen to WotanOrden. Particularly songs from their album "From The Storm Come The Wolves", when there was only two members. That band has my favourite vocals ever..

Definately get The Mantle and Ashes Against the Grain. Avoid the EPs like the plague.

why does everyone seem to bash on dragonforce? theres a huge band wagon of haters (im not saying you're one of them) with no reason other than everyone else does
p.s do you like helloween? good power metal band... well their first few albums are good... theyre considered the founders of power metal

I agree, neafoo. The only reason Dragonforce are so hated by so many people is because they're so popular.. And the reason they're so popular is because they're actually genuinely amazingly talented! Even non-metalheads can get into it just watching the videos. And if you've seen them perform, they're even more likeable.
