1. B Pharmacy @ USyd
2. B Science (Advanced) @ USyd
3. B Science (Advanced) @ UNSW
4. B Medical Science @ USyd
5. B Medical Science @ UNSW
6. B Science @ USyd
....SO FAR

I'm in a dilemma over my alternative preferences to BPharm. If I want to do BPharm @ USyd, and don't get offered a place, what would be the next best course(s) to do, which would enable me to transfer?
Need advice...

By the way, can you transfer courses from one uni to another.. e.g. If im doing B.Science @ UNSW, can I transfer to BPharm @ USyd if I meet criteria etc. ?

Hmmmm.... probably... (not sure what order - someone help me!)

1) law/arts UTS
2) law/arts MAQ
3) law/arts UOW
4) law/arts ANU
5) law/arts UWS

I'm also thinking of English teaching

EDIT: I just realised how grammatically incorrect that was...

Fourth preference is what I really want to get into.
If your fourth preference is the one that you really want to get into, then why isn't it first. If by some chance you meet the requirements for one of the first three, you won't even be considered for the fourth preference.

The rest of them i still have to work out, i am not sure yet i am applying for early entry at ACU, so i need to have that as number one and it is like the best for computers teaching.
What is ACU? Where else can you apply for early entry?

I know there is CSU, UNE and SCU do you mean SCU?

Racial riots = south sydney.
Nah, more like southwest Sydney... Like, Macquarie Fields. Liz, stop antagonising people.

Anyways, my preferences are probably going to be:

1. B. Med. Science - USYD
2. B. Science - MQ
3. B. Science - USYD
4. B. Science - UNSW
5. BA Philosophy - USYD

... I think I might change that BA to something else... It looks so out of place compared to my other choices.

Still trying to a make decision on the rest of my options :)
Looking at your progressive ranks, i think you're guaranteed to achieve Comm (lib studies) @ UNSW; even if you miss the published cut-off you'll get 5 bonus points for sure :)

Just a quick observation though - being as neutral as possible - your 1st preference *may* be just outside your realistic goals. In 2007, even the dux of your school did not score the published uai cut-off.

It'd be a shame that you make into your 2nd preference without considering similar humanities degrees such as International studies ahead of it :D

I heard you get +2 at UNSW entry if you get a band 5/6 in english and another +2 for band 5/6 in mathematics at the school of business.

Can anyone verify?

band 5/6 in advanced english = +2
band 4 in advanced english = +1
band 3/4 in english ext 1 = +2
band 2 in english ext 1 = +1
band 3/4 in english ext 2 = +2
band 2 in english ext 2 = +1
band 5/6 in maths = +2 (not general maths)
band 4 in maths = +1
band 3/4 in maths ext 1 = +2
band 2 in maths ext 1 = +1
band 3/4 in maths ext 2 = +2
band 2 in maths ext 2 = +1

However you cannot get these points if you are doing commerce/law, eco/law or commerce (international)
