What are u talking about I literally spoke to the prime minister of Oman and Dubai and they told me this info clown. You’re going to disagree with the leaders of the country themselves? 🤡

Thoughts/feelings after finishing the HSC exams

I have two more exams but I'm already having a crisis. I'm so scared for the future I'm so worried about money and my career and my social life and the fact that I'll be an adult so soon😭 the responsibility scares me I feel mentally in year 7 still sometimes, how did time even go by this fast...

how do u know how many points u get for eas

I think it depends on your degree and circumstances but you can't get more than 10 points

still dont know what i wanna do

From what I've seen biomed is more focused on biology/sciences and how diseases work usually in a lab setting. Med sci is more the application of this info in diagnosing and curing diseases. That's kind of a rough idea but they're pretty similar. I'm not sure what the better option would be. I...

how do u know how many points u get for eas

I think there's a 10 point limit for uts, unsw and USYD. Usually when you apply to uac you get an email letting you know you're eligible automatically

still dont know what i wanna do

Yeah they do have high atar requirements but a lot of ppl aiming to do med usually get high atars anyways - just not high enough for med. But it's not compulsory to do a science/med related undergraduate, you could always do something unrelated to med. Most people just do allied health since it...

still dont know what i wanna do

Physio, occupational therapy, speech pathology, optometry, dietician, paramedics, theres so many. You should consider what you're most interested in and you could definitely find a relevant allied health profession

still dont know what i wanna do

Definitely do what ace said and get an allied health degree so you can get a job easier than a med sci degree (in case you change your mind about med)

Are you pro life or pro choice?

They’re really not tho why do you have to be like this omg…. Don’t dehumanise literal human beings. You don’t need to have a phd to know monkeys and humans are so different in so many ways

Are you pro life or pro choice?

You’re dehumanising them tho. Don’t do that. Consent is so complex when it comes to someone who has a disability. I don’t think consent should be what keeps them alive, it’s so specific to each circumstance each person will lead such a different life. You think a rich disabled person will have...

Are you pro life or pro choice?

I think your intentions are just really questionable nonya… you don’t empathise with disabled people you just act superior to them. That’s the problem…. I wish you’d be less problematic so we could actually have a proper conversation. Also you are being unnecessarily cruel like wtf is up with...

Are you pro life or pro choice?

I seriously hate that they turned this conversation into some eugenics nonsense but some of the stuff they’re saying has some (very slight) truth to it unfortunately

Are you pro life or pro choice?

I get it but this is such an important topic I wish we'd take it more seriously
  18. wildwestworm

Are you pro life or pro choice?

I wish we could just have a conversation without being petty please? ace was just giving her opinion, why be so unnecessarily cruel ?

Are you pro life or pro choice?

Unfortunately this is very true. In Australia there are so many barriers to support as a disabled person, but also the quality of the support you receive may not be very good either... its so hard to navigate the world, you lose so much autonomy
