How many slices of pizza can you eat in one sitting?

Not a std pizza size cause the cut angle/number of slices on even a same size large can differ :P Lol once when I was four I ate a whole large pizza (8 slices) once no idea how, but nowadays even if I'm super, super ravenous, 5 is probs the max I could eat. But I rarely eat pizza. I'm...

Most annoying book of all time

I was forced to read it in primary school, and Mouldy's Orphan still haunts me as the worst book of all time. Other hated books included Destroying Avalon, all 4 Twilights, Lobster Boy...

How do I stay competitive throughout my HSC year

By not focusing solely on an extrinsic motivation like her, but a motivation within. What do you want a good score for? What course do you want? What uni do you want? What opportunities will come out of a better score? (being able to say you were dux, scholarships, tutoring magnetism, co op...

    Units of study help?

You'll really have to bridge your maths to cope imho. Work hard in the hols to catch up and it could be achievable though. A strong 2U candidate (90+) or a decent 3U person is normally the calibre need to do ok in USYD first year phys. So many 4U people in phys.

    Enrolling in SSP

Hallo :) I'll chime in for bio SSP! Bio SSP is great and I found it not much of a step from doing Adv level bio, and it's an absolutely fantastic course. The only difference is you get to do way more independent and higher thinking lab work. They'll expect you to pick up practical...

Human biology vs concepts in biology?

oh oh *waves*-I did every first year bio unit at USYD, so I can contrast and compare them :P So just for some background, I did my SSP in Human Bio, and Adv Concepts. So firstly, Concepts! Concepts is a remarkably well structured course where the outcomes will also be clear to you. The...

Is it better to top Standard than to be doing averagely in Advanced?

    Typically, averagely in advanced.

Omg omg. I am so jealous of you getting to take that course with the best coordinator ever (most organised unit I've ever done). This is what I'll do if you ever speak blasphemy about the beloved unit. (Same reaction to anyone bagging GEOS1X02)

Comparison of Public School Voluntary contributions

Looking up a lot of selectives have about a 56-59% upper quartile student body which is not surprising given the fees contribution. And most only about 2-3% from lowest quartile.

Comparison of Public School Voluntary contributions

I suppose they need them contributions to play in those GPS sports. My primary school was $21 and my high school was like $77. Many local primary schools were around $6 here though.

Comparison of Public School Voluntary contributions

How would you rate my subjects in a "scaling" perspective?

Decently, esp the Exts. Any ATAR is in your grasp with the combo anyway.

Why did you guys choose USYD?

There's not many physics ladies. One of the only ones I know someth1ng massively offended by calling her a slut. Lol Rythen thought I was English for a whole semester and then was devo when he realised my true Southern bogan roots I'd say UTS is the most practical course for...

Yeah this so much. First I've heard of it lolololo. Also just fyi for the lectures, if you can't be bothered tricking TTU to give you the lectures you want, just rock out to the stream you want. Also for tutes, rock up to one of the better tutors/time and just get your name put on the roll there.

    Subject Selections 2014

More like madness after MBLG1901 lol. And also, MBLG2071 would be more impressive cause that's all the protein biochem, this is more the genetics stuff that more general bio kids also have a crack at. The caution is in doing 2072 opposed to 2972 lol. I can speak of how much I loved first year...
