    UNSW law/cs vs comm/law vs comm/cs

To do what? Best by what metric? Pick what you want to do as a job. CS is bloody hard, and if you don't have a passion for it, you'll fail and fail again. Likewise for Law.

Best undergraduate degree for postgrad med?

Literally anything. I caution you to make your personality purely about med. You will be living and breathing medicine for the rest of your life. Take the time to now enjoy other aspects of university. I too am going to enter medicine for postgrad. However, I decided against taking...

Best undergraduate degree for postgrad med?

Hahaha true, maybe you get a pass for y12, but all my best memories of school are from extracurriculars - I highly encourage you to get involved at uni if you can.

Best undergraduate degree for postgrad med?

Not quite, ATAR is a rank, but I get what you mean. I think if that were the case, it would be to a great detriment. There's more to life than academic excellence. Best undergraduate degree for postgrad med?

None! Pick what you enjoy. Medsci is the worst 'premed' degree.

In my case, no, I performed really well in trials and did not do as well in the HSC for English. It's hard to say - but expect similar to harsher marking than your school. Try to see if any teachers at your school are HSC markers and ask them for advice. I think English should stay mandatory -...

Laptop requirements for electrical engineering and computer science?

I'm not sure what applications they use in elec, but for mech, the only big problem for me was solidworks (3d modelling), but I think that was just because it was poorly optimised for mac. If they want to avoid that headache, then yeah, they could go for a beefy computer, but I do a very...

Laptop requirements for electrical engineering and computer science?

Dell XPS 13 and Dell XPS 15 are good windows laptops. You don't need that powerful a laptop for engineering/compsci, but there are some applications that do lag a lot. So if you have the money, go with XPS 13 + Desktop. Or you could do XPS 15 and not need a Desktop. Or if you are on a smaller...
