Nah you can join whenever. Don't join unless you actually like what the society does and can see yourself getting involved. I suppose it'd look good on your resume to play sport, but it's hardly that important. You wouldn't miss out on a job if it wasn't there, lets put it that way.

What do you mean do already, i've already done the damn course, look at my profile, HSC 2010. Most of the algebra is new but so basic, matrices and vector aren't difficult. All of calculus most people already know, or at least the vast majority of it. That's a near pass in the course already...
