    HSC marking?

Im the same mate. Im worrying about stupid marks i've lost and etc. But im the person who will be gutted for about 2/3 days, and then say who cares; there are more important and better things in life. What's done is done, as is said to me. Let the aligning take over, and you'll be fine...

    Plagiarism

I don't think i have heard anything about plagarism in Science- except obviously in home assignments. Mate, no way on this Earth will you get done for Plagarism. If its the right answer, it's the right answer. It doesn't matter if thousands of others have the same, because at the end of the day...

    Raw mark for band 6?

Ok...it's a 'hard subject'. Although, i have never done MX2 - it would have to be the toughest subject. Ancient is an easy subject in regards to writing; but its just the extreme amount of content, in which makes it so difficult. For example, for the personality study and Historical period, you...

Biology Short Response Questions Part B

Granted, but they are the same haha. If it had water reabsorption and Aldosterone then you'd be right. But i remember reading in regards to the filtration dot point, that water and glucose are reabsorbed into the loop of henle, which was the part that you had to label. oh well, it all...

    Communication Elective?

It asks how Lasik corrects it. So basicly, i've discussed the procedure. This procedure can also be used for hyperopia or whatever its called as well. There are 3 key points to the procedure.

    Communication Elective?

Lasik 3 marks - 1 - Cornea tissue sliced off and folded 2 - Laser is placed on exposed folded cornea tissue reshaping it 3 - once laser has finished, the cornea tissue is unfolded and attached/inserted back into the eye.

    General Thoughts: Biology

I believe 3 is A. Yes B can also be right, but it's too specific. What's a specific temperature, 5oC or 37oC? -see there are some discrepencies. 45oC is a specific temperature, but they then begin to denuture or whatever. It doesn't matter whether the organism is an ectotherm or endotherm...

    Raw Mark of 77 Scaled?

Yeah i would have preferred more on BPL. I found that my notes (Excel Biology book) were not detailed enough for alot of the questions, especially the collaboration of scientists. All i could talk about was Watson nominated her as a mad scientist, and when adjoined by the sexism; it made her...

    Raw Mark of 77 Scaled?

This exam will be a beaut in aligning. I went home yesterday and had a look at the 2011 independent trial (it was on my desk...im not sad haha). I could answer everything, and i believed i would have achieved at least 95. This test (2011 HSC) was more about application. Anyone notice that it was...

    Raw Mark of 77 Scaled?

My estimate, but im hoping im right. It would scale to about 88/89.

    75 raw ?

Cheers brother. I could get higher, but because my school is really bad; they're going to pull me down quite a lot.

How hard do you think they will mark the 7 marker on the implications of Biology?

I had this strange approach like you have with an essay with English. I felt that i had to produce a stunning piece of writing in which the markers would mark me on quality. I think i managed to get 4/5 points, but i also felt i repeating.
  13. S

    75 raw ?

Quite possibly mate - because it was a difficult test hopefully they drop the band levels - i can honestly see 72 being 5 five - ban6 79-80

Biology Short Response Questions Part B

I put by taking the Nucleic acid out, it will weaken the virus or prevent it from being live and thus preventing the risk of contamination of the scientist. - general but i think i'll be alright.

Biology Short Response Questions Part B

Good work man. But 25 (A) how can it be both ADH and water reabsorption - surely there are the same. Also, im pretty sure after it passes through the Bowman's capsule and into the tubules, any substances whether it be water content or glucose are selectively reabsorbed back into the loop. I...

Who's doing no/little study for chem and phy???

I've done a fair bit for Physics. But most likely have forgotton it because of Ancient History's mass amount of content. Im just going to cram 10 hours each day on Physics. C'mon bro, one more week; you can do it mate. Good luck.

    General Thoughts: Biology

That sounds right...thats what i put. I said that while perflurochemicals are synthetic and do no cause disease, the stem cell blood is already mixed through lipids ect..
