    General Thoughts: Biology

Same I put X - Thermometer and Y - Electronic processor? I think if you put something that is reasonable then there is no reason that you won't get the mark for that.

    General Thoughts: Biology

Yeah i originally though Co2, but then i thought to myself. Why would the protein be carrying carbon dioxide - But i dunno you might actually be correct, because plasma is a protein, and it dissolves oxygen or carries it, so... Sorry my head is all over the place.

    General Thoughts: Biology

I related the skin stem cells to the production of perferochemcials or whatever - but anyway they are synthetic and not susceptible to disease, and also while they need to be modified, the skin stem cells don't. Meanwhile, another improvement is that they don't contain membranes, and thus no...

    General Thoughts: Biology

Proteins - Salts im pretty sure. Because i've heard plasma proteins, carry salt ions - thats what i choose anyway. But man, that was harder than the hardest trial independent Physics test i've ever done. How many 7/8 markers do they want to induce. I practical bullshitted the understanding of...

    General Thoughts: Biology

Suprisingly, i found it quite difficult. The questions at times required an understanding, rather than memory. Now those who are not aiming for a band 6 can say it was easy, but if your aiming for one then it was particularly difficult.

Do you use the whole 3 hours?

Im aiming to get the multi choice done in 5 minutes. Finish the exam within 2 hours, and use the 55 minutes to go over everything. Biology is good timewise.

    Plans for post HSC?

Get bladdered. Fishing. Back to my sports. Surfing. Uni.

    Raw mark for band 6?

Yeah mate, it's blatently easy. Try learning 25000 bloody words aha. It's by far the hardest subject, because of its content. It's wrong how they expect you to learn so much, and then only test on a minute amount, and saying that Pompeii/Herculanum's big question (6 marker) was not on one...

Section I - Core (Pompeii and Herculaneum)

I hated the graffiti question. I refered to the sources, and then talked about economy, social structures, and etc and they provide us with distinctive relationships. Be lucky to get 4/6. Last question was alright, hoping to get about 9/10.

    General Thoughts - Ancient History

I went alright. Hopefully 80%. The Sparta last question looked hard, but when you break it down it was sweet. Im sure the exams band 6 level will come down, because it was certainly sterner than previous years.

Alternatives to ATAR in the Wake of the Worst Case Scenario

This is not an English essay mate. You don't need big words "Unequivocally". There are though other ways, one in which means you will have to go for a bacholar of arts (god knows what its about) then after a year with high grades transfer to the course you want. Others include Tafe... I hope...

What did everyone put as there preferences ?

Biomed Bacholar of Secondary Education Biology / Physical education I hope i get the teaching. I don't know; it's just biomed will seem boring, and the novolty will wear off. Plus i like helping people, and feel i have a lot to offer.

Anyone else completely losing focus and going crazy?!

Yes mate, crisis' like those put things into perspective. But some of 'Us' believe in hard work, to achieve things in life. I know the feeling that OP is going through, giving everything up for the HSC; you put so much effort in, so don't knock him/her for that.

    General Thoughts: General Mathematics

kiddo, you do know for 12 that you had to flip the equation on one side ( the right side) then cross multiple. Thus the answer was D.

general maths- all nighter or not?

An all nighter means a worse result than what you would have. Have faith in your ability, you never know you might be pretty good. I screwed my trial up - but i knew i probably had the panic of creating 2 english essays and learning them in less than 16 hours at the back of my head. Enough of my...

HSC EXAM only tests Year12 topics?

Mate, your a knob. If you have nothing constructive to say, then don't. This person has plenty of time to focus on these things. @ OP: Yes i believe they can ask yr 11 stuff, however i think it only consitutes 30%. In reality, if you are sweet with the HSC content; you should be okay with the 11...

How to Differentiate between, present, compound and future annuities.

Present- Usually has 'takes out' The look at the context of the sentence, and the way it is written. So, Jake needs $250000 at the end of 6 years, how much should he put in to achieve this goal. A really basic one, but as you can see the 'how much should he put in' indicates that a present is...
