    Transfer from Comm to Comm/Law

if you are certain on doing finance major then I would take FINS1613 in Sem 1 instead of a core. It is said FINS1613 in sem 2 is much harder.

    Comm/Arts transferring to Comm/Law

Yeap you don't have to any arts in First year. It's really flexible at UNSW. Some people say MGMT1001 is a WAM killer because of the 2 essays that form part of your assessments. I didn't find it a WAM killer. It does requite some BSing. I heard avoid doing FINS1613 in Sem 2. So if you are...

    Comm/Arts transferring to Comm/Law

If you are looking to transfer to Com/Law I would just do commerce courses only in 1st year. If you get in, you won't be behind but if you don't you can pick up arts courses and less commerce courses in 2nd year. All the best

    2) All commerce courses are approved for study with law with the exception of LEGT courses. I believe this is about to change but not sure it if has. Have you decided on a major? If you have pick courses in that major as you only get one major for Com/Law. 4) Yes you can. 3) Yeap.

When do we make our unsw timetables????

Um when my friend did it in first year I think he did ACCT1501 ECON1101 INFS1602 INFS1603 Some people do ACCT1501 ECON1101 ECON1203 MGMT1001 instead though Regardless what you do, you will still complete the same courses but in different order

When do we make our unsw timetables????

Yeap its best if you can enrol as soon as you accept offer to maximise the chances of getting a good timetable. Although I would say more than half of the cohort won't enrol by the end of tonight haha. Some people won't understand the program or get lost with the accepting/enrolling process.

    UNSW Chit Chat Thread 2014

depends on course I say. For Law you will definitely need your textbooks. Nope. They understand the transition from high school to uni is a bit challenging. For some things they will expect it within a few weeks others you get a bit more time

    UNSW Chit Chat Thread 2014

try logging out and closing your browser then try logging in again. Sometimes the cookie stuffs it up. This is kinda like what happens with enrolment when people log in before their appointment time otherwise u r way too early

    Timetable help

Yes you can. Classes finish usually 10 min before the hour and start 10 min after the hour. I would check the location though incase you have one class lower campus and next one upper campus.

    The offer

Once an offer is made, there should be a link to a unsw page on how to accept your offer. It's a step by step guide.

What is the difference between the two faculties?

In terms of the major not much difference but to even get a major, you will need to do the introductory courses for that degree. For e.g. if you do an international business major under the Commerce degree you need to do courses like Accounting & Economics whereas if you do an international...

    UNSW 2014 Rollcall

5 years isn't long tbh. A lot of my friends finished in 3 years or about to finish their final year of a 4 year degree program and wished they did a 5 year degree instead haha!

Want to know if you made it into your preferred UNSW course before official offer?

Re: Want to know if you made it into your preferred UNSW course before official offer If it's law don't worry. Spots should open up sometime tonight. They did it like that so transfer students don't take up all the good times (they enrol before you guys).

    UNSW open day

Open day is a chance for you to find more about uni in terms of degrees available and the uni atmosphere. All degrees have open day on the same day for a uni. I believe the UNSW Open Day is 6 September 2014. Anyone can come. A year 10 student can come or even a child can come. I am not sure...
