    Bachelor Secondary Education/Science HELP

Min UOC 192 for award means how many units of credit you need to do before you can graduate. A typical course is 6 UOC so you are looking at doing at least 32 courses before you can graduate. The normal full time load per semester is 4, so that means you are expected to finish the degree after 4...

How universal/international is the study of law?

Um there will be some similarities but because they are in different jurisdictions there will also be some differences. E.g. Australian and American law differ slightly for torts. In relation to ANU and UWS the content should be the same, however, they might focus different aspects. For e.g...

    First Year Subjects?

Well you need to do ECON1101 before you can do ECON1102. So ECON1101 in Sem 1 and ECON1102 in Sem 2. You can do ACCt1501, ECON1202 and ECON1203 in either Sem 1 or Sem 2. I would do ECON1203 in Sem 1 as it is a prerequisite to ECON1401. ECON2101 you leave till 2nd year. ECON2206 you also...

UNSW Bachelor of Commerce - Timetable Questions

    1. You create your timetable after you accept your offer online. However, you can draft a timetable now by checking class times. You can use https://my.unsw.edu.au/classutil/ or Class Search by Teaching Period 2. Yes you just do the compulsory core courses in first semester. However, you can...

    HELP! Arts/law or commerce/law?

If you are looking to work at law firms, it doesn't really matter whether you do Arts/Law or Commerce/Law. Arts and Commerce degrees equip you with different skills and depending on the firm, they find certain skills more valuable. I have lots of friends in senior years who did Arts/Law and are...

    Commerce at unsw

If I had to pick what to combine with Law I wouldn't be able to decide between Arts or Science. Regretted doing Commerce tbh but I ceebs changing degree as I only have 3 more commerce courses left. Sort of also hard to pick for him cause he wants to do IP. He changed to science cause he...

USYD/UNSW Law vs. UTS Law (Vice Chancellor's Scholarship)

I would def take UTS law if you are getting a scholarship and none from UNSW/USYD. UTS might not be as reputable as the other two but it's still a great uni not to mention communication is also great at UTS.

Bachelor of commerce at UNSW or USYD?

TBH base on what you said I think you like USYD more. You should pick it if that's the case. Reputation doesn't really mean much for undergraduate degrees.

    Commerce at unsw

Actually for law it works a bit differently. You can generally jump between combined degrees for law because it's under the law faculty. There isn't a minimum wam requirement unless that has changed recently. I have a friend who switched Com/Law -> Arts/law -> Science/Law -> Arts/Law by just...

    Question about Law timetable.

Hey OP that is because they only open those many spots for transfer students. When offer comes out for recent hsc finishers more spots will open up. This is to ensure that first years have more options when making timetables incase of clash with other degree. This also happened to some second...

Honours creeping up and mooting question

In terms of competitions. It really depends when you get selected to compete. Usually with international moots people just don't do clerkship. If you are looking to compete in 4th year summer, you will apply in sem 2 of 3rd year. However, usually people get selected in their penultimate year so...

    Combined Law/Eng at USYD

I don't know too much about the degree but it definitely helps. If you are looking to be a patent attorney (intellectual property) you need a science or engineering background (uni degree). So if you are interested in intellectual property particularly patents, it will help out a lot. It also...

    Commerce (International) at UNSW

http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/plans/2014/EUROA13558.html doesn't say anything about having to learn a language so I guess not? Although it would be preferable if you were planning to go on exchange to a non-english speaking country. Since you are looking at the UK I guess it...

Law at USYD or Law at UNSW

I started the thread linked in the above post. I am currently studying at UNSW and I would say that it doesn't matter which one you pick. You cannot possibly go wrong with either. Both are great law schools. Things I would consider if I had to choose again includes: 1) travelling 2) what degree...
