Yeap they are courses outside your faculty. There is a list of gen ed courses somewhere

    Timetable enrolment error

If you are doing Commerce, you get two majors. Maybe enrol into courses in your other major? Or you can do a gen ed course.

    Contract law

s52 of TPA has now been transferred to s 18 of ACL. There is a slight difference though. s 52 says "a corporation" and I believe s 18 says "a person" and wow to the revival of this thread

    UNSW vs USYD Commerce

Both are great unis to go for Commerce. Each great in their own way. I don't see how you can go wrong with either tbh. Factors I would consider if I was in your position are: 1) travel 2) friends (you might want to go where most of your friends are) 3) majors (one uni might not offer a major...

    Summer Term Fees and HECS

Yeap about 2k more per course for ASB :P

    Co-op offer release.

Sorry I overstated :P Not really a disadvantage but instead of graduating in 3 years you will be graduating in 4 years :P

    Co-op offer release.

It's not the end of the world if you don't get a Co-op. Sometimes it can be a disadvantage getting a Co-Op.

    Summer Term Fees and HECS

All summer courses can be deferred except courses from ASB. You must pay full fee and upfront unless you apply for FEE-HELP. FEE-HELP has a one off 20% interest fee on whatever you borrow.

Should I continue my law degree?

The thing with Foundations of Law is that it's mostly philosphical stuff. In most instances there isn't a correct answer. When you get to the later courses there are correct answers. Lecturers will usually say here are the elements of X. It also depends on the lecturer. Some lecturers for law...

    MARK2071 International and Global Marketing

http://www.asb.unsw.edu.au/schools/Courseoutlines/MARK2071_International_and_Global_Marketing_S12013.pdf According to course outline, your lecture is also your tutorial. The first half is lecture and the second half is tutorial. As for those random tutorials I have no clue. Hope that helps :)

    Fins1612

When I did it was in lectures and you had to go the lecture you were enrolled in. So if you were enrolled in say 9-11 lecture, you have to sit your quiz then even if say the 12-2 one is more convenient for you.

    FINS electives; wealth or SAV?

SAV is very useful if you are looking to do Investment Banking. I haven't done either but my friends who have preferred Wealth Management as the content is more straight forward. They thought it was more interesting too.

Has anyone done any gen-ed courses online? How was it?

It doesn't have to be a course with course code GENS. You can do courses with course codes such as CHEM, ARTS as long as it's outside your faculty and on the list of approved courses for general education. As far as doing a Gen Ed, I haven't done one and will never be doing one unfortunately :(...

    Course outlines

The Law Faculty doesn't upload it anywhere I don't think. I don't think any database has it. I have a copy of Admin (Sem 1 2013), Equity & Trusts (Sem 1 2013) and Lawyers, Ethics and Justice (Sem 2 2013) if you want. PM me your email and I will email them over to you. I don't have the others...

    Bcom minors?

I would say Accounting and Finance would be easier to find jobs. With economics, its really hard to find a job unless you have honours/PhDs. Business Law you will be competing with Law students. An employer is more likely to employ a law student over a business law major student. Management...

I don't understand the Summer Term fees

Basically all HECS will not take place until census date. If you are on HECS, the fees you normally defer to HECS will not take place till census date. You don't have to worry about anything. That stupid red text will always be there but then disappear after census date.
