what's the diff between aligned, HSC and scaled mark?

Yes. The official process can't be used because students don't have access to their raw marks (and insufficient statistics are published).

I just thought it might be fun... you can ignore it if you really want to... We are working on fixing the odd character issue.

    WAM and GPA ??

Yes. It's not really valid, and I whinge about it all the time, but that's what they do.

    Uai And Equivalency

A UAI of 90 means that on the basis of your aggregated scaled marks, you were ranked equal to or better than 90% of your state age cohort (i.e. people your own age who completed the School Certificate with you two years earlier). Don't know what you mean by a "raw aggregate percentage" - you...

    Query

If you are certain that you were ranked absolute first (i.e. not equal first), and your examination mark is higher than your assessment mark, you should contact the Board of Studies ASAP.

    Pop-ups on BORED

There shouldn't ever be any pop-ups on this website. Make sure you're accessing it via the boredofstudies.org address and not the old boredofstudies.cjb.net URL.

    2005 scaling report

Unfortunately, no. I think they would prefer it if such programs didn't exist. :) SAM etc are based on those reports and whatever additional understanding the maker has of the system.

    BOS RPG Thread.

They're called 'closed emotes' - closed because they restrict player action and don't leave the outcomes of actions undetermined or open. They're generally highly frowned upon. e.g. "James leans forward hungrily, slurping your brains out of your very skull" is far too closed, forces the other...

    Law school leeches

Yeah I get this too... I give my notes to friends and just ignore everyone else. I can't stand people who believe that every subject is somehow inherently 'rly hard' or who believe that they are incapable of making their own good notes (when they haven't even tried). There are so many law...
