You could try calling the UAI Enquiry Centre... ask them which mark(s) pulled you down. If you do, please post back here with their response. :)

Your internal school rankings were once available via www.studentsonline.nsw.edu.au... now you'd probably have to ask your school.

Doing cosmology doesn't mean you have to discard your geography mark. It could very well end up counting instead of one of your other subjects.

Where on earth did this come from? "bored of studies is a branch of the Board of Studies"? We "make guesses based on what the students say"? I don't think you could be more wrong.

We don't have enough data. I could produce raw figures, such as the number of students at each school with a Band 6 in maths, but I have no way of normalising those figures to allow comparisons between schools - total number of students who sat the examination paper will vary from school to...

The published statistics aren't exhaustive - there are a lot of gaps that need to be filled in. The two programs use different methods for estimating those 'in between' figures.

Your marks can't be lowered as a result of a recheck. I'm sure they would be happy to give you the Premier's Award if you became eligible for it.

You weren't disadvantaged - you were awarded the maximum possible assessment marks in the circumstances, being your own examination marks (which were top at your school). The only way you could have been 'pulled up' would be for you or another student in your class to obtain higher...
