Free math & computer skills tests for kids grade 1-6

Not to burst any bubbles; but you don't really need to push a kid and assess him/her while he/she is still in Year 3-5. Sure, they need to get a basic understanding of maths, but they sure as hell don't need to be pushed very hard.

    Which engo is best?

There's no best. For money, civil/mining are the best. But you can't say best, it's all about the personal preference.

Going well in UMAT without prep courses

If anyone has tried the SATs before, the reading and writing sections may be similar to the UMAT exam's.

    I need some motivation

I got all band 5s in the SC, but I was a high achiever in my preliminary year. DW. SC counts for nothing.

Question about dropping from Advanced to Standard(English)

Yeah. I got 80th out of 173 people. And I'm not interested in Gwen Harwood's crappy poems. " Re: Question about dropping from Advanced to Standard(English) Quote: Originally Posted by arjungamer123 Hi people Anyway, I'm just facing a tough question right now. See, I'm aiming for 99 UAI, and...

Question about dropping from Advanced to Standard(English)

Hi people Anyway, I'm just facing a tough question right now. See, I'm aiming for 99 UAI, and I feel that at this stage, the only thing thats holding me back from that is English Advanced. I feel that I could fare better in Standard, and I could do well in it, as in my latest English ADV...

    SC Results Thread

Re: 2008SC SC Results ~ I got zero band sixes for my school certificate, and I did really well in Year 11. School certificate is not a good indicator of how you will do in Year 11, so please for the love of god(s), no one grow a big head and become arrogant, because otherwise, Year 11 will own you.

How bad is bad? (Engineering @ Usyd)

Yeah I do. You sound tough. I wouldn't want to mess with you. Especially on an educational HSC website. I'm scared /sarcasm

How bad is bad? (Engineering @ Usyd)

Neither do you. You go to UTS, so that means you have no fucking idea about USYD engineering either. Want to join my club?

Tell me school! What do you want!

So anyway, we got our first assessment back, and aprt from the Top Ranked class, performance across the board wasn't too great. Mine wasn't either. I'm just having trouble finding out WHAT THE F*** they want. So many people I know worked as hard as I did(to the detriment of other subjects)...

    Free Laptop

No thanks. I think I'll keep my 4GB RAM laptop. Fucking government, wasting money like this, especially in the middle of the worst Economics crisis since the Great Depression. First they remove free bus travel, halve the buses in my area, cancel the proposed Train station in Cherrybrook, and...

    What you hate about UNSW

A handicapped parking space is not for the handicapped. It signifies that it is Chuck Norris'parking space, and if you park there, you will become handicapped. There's nto theory of evolution, only a list of animals chuck allowed to live.

How bad is bad? (Engineering @ Usyd)

    1. Mechancial and Electrical together is collectively Mechatronic, isn't it? 2. At UNSW, it's a lot more advanced.

Future Plans: What ATAR/course/job are you aiming for?

Re: Future Plans: What UAI/course/job are you aiming for? Aiming for 99. Realistically, I reckon, with my current work ethic, a 95 is in the cards, but a lot changes between now and next November.:D Aiming for Engineering in Australia as a back-up, and deferring for a year. Planning on...

    How is this Belonging?

Pick a better text. Teachers know when you are trying to pick a text just because it as esoteric appeal.

    Maths programming

If you're doing programming, and have no background in it, I'd suggest picking up a "for Dummies" book in whatever comp. language, after the HSC exams, and just getting a background in that. That would push you ahead in front of the other students with no history in programming.
