You complete two years worth of HSC Legal Studies in the first week (maybe first two weeks) of Law. They're completely different. Doing Legal Studies gives you an advantage.....for the first two weeks (and in my case, none of it was assessable).

I can give you some responses which are my opinions, or perceptions of things which I am pretty sure are correct. As for factual and backed up responses - you can go look them up yourself. Do you still want my opinions?

I found all study guides to be a waste of time......you're better off getting notes from past students, OR, summarising your own notes.

autismsuperstar, has harsh as he/she is, does have a basis of truth in their posts. You can't get a band 6 without some effort. And some people will get a Band 6 with a lot less effort than others. That's just life.

For Module B of Advanced (which is most likely where they will ask 'personal response'), you are free to use the first person, or the third person typically used in an English essay. You will not get marked more leniently, or harsher either way. The insights you have gained and your personal...

I found UMAT courses a huge waste of time and money. If anything, all you need is the papers. If you can get them off your friend (like I did), there's no need to pay absurd amounts for essentially a waste of time.

I dropped to 10 units just before the HSC exams started. To be honest, I felt I could focus better on just 10 units, and because my internal marks had already been decent for my 10Us.
