Not necessarily. I fall into the boat which states that neither is better than the other - and you should decide based on criteria such as: location (how far will it take you to get to uni), friends (yes, it makes a difference to how much you enjoy university), and other criteria.

In terms of perception of prestige, I'd put UTS above UWS. UTS/Macquarie duking it out for third. And I believe USyd/UNSW - there is no distinction.
