big 4 vs the rest cadetship

There are benefits to both though and it really depends on what the individual wants. That being said, I chose big 4.

    What is my best option?

How good are your marks in Arts/Law? Transferring to Comm/Law and getting less than stellar marks won't necessarily improve your chances of some of the top tier finance roles with or without maths. Most people who do Arts/Law (cf any other double degree with law) tend to end up in law from what...

    Weekend cars.

    Under $35k.

    buying from overseas

Brand new? I was under the impression the only way to get new cars in was if they weren't sold locally.

    Weekend cars.

The 350/370z are cheap on the second hand market now. I wouldn't mind them for a fun car if I had a spare parking spot.

    buying from overseas

New or second hand? It's not that straightforward especially if the car is available domestically. The exception to this is you can buy some of the more exclusive track-oriented cars (e.g. WRC-prepped STIs, rally-spec Evo X, Mugen Civic RR, etc) but they aren't able to be registered for street...

    Weekend cars.

lol c63 would be the dream but at the moment, looking at a more modest engined one (maybe when c400 comes out?).

    Weekend cars.

This reminds me of British car shows which talk about weekend cars using beer money (because cars are cheap, owning a car isn't)... I've come to accept that living in a CBD (anywhere) means I only have one parking spot so need to find a car which fits both requirements. Currently thinking again...

Spiders (Ice cream + fizzy drink)

Spiders were great when I was a kid. With different flavours of Rekorderlig they're even better.

    2016 MX 5 Discussion Thread...

Driveaway pricing for current MX-5 is $51k-$53k based on http://www.mazda.com.au/cars/mazda-mx-5/price-and-specification/ That being said, given it's in run out, I'm sure you can haggle quite a bit off it if you really wanted one. IMO given the competition nowadays in the $30k-$45k bracket, the...

    2016 MX 5 Discussion Thread...

After seeing the photos come out today, I'm pretty impressed with the look. Reminds me of the Z4 and is modern. Doesn't look as balanced as others but I think it has brought the MX-5 forward. For anyone who hasn't seen it >...

    BEconomics VS BCommerce

Difficulty/level of maths will depend on what you major in/subjects you choose. Pure economics will involve more maths than most of the other Commerce (or Eco) majors.

BMW Z2... and it's front wheel drive?

Maybe the xDrive versions will be better... if they make it here.

BMW Z2... and it's front wheel drive?

Source: http://www.drive.com.au/motor-news/bmw-z2-due-in-2017-report-20140902-10b83e.html What do you think? Note I skipped the image because it's just a render, but it feels like only yesterday when BMW were proud of the fact all their cars were RWD.

    New C Class

Went to MB dealership today to check it out and it is impressive with the floating centre console. The floating screen does still feel tacked on but is better in real life than in pictures. The GUI of the new COMAND system feels modern and refreshed based on the transitions/animations/etc and...

need help with business studies task

I'm very confused as to how you came up with that? Isn't the Op's assignment where they're meant to essentially research a business, and then write up what their business plan would be in terms of how it operates, what they do, how they make money, how they run, etc...?

    Cadetships 2014

It's quite uncommon but not unheard of. Usually what people get is a conditional offer and it's typically explicitly said that it's subject to reference checks. That being said given you've signed paper work, I'm thinking this is either just an accident, or they just want to double check...

    Card games?

Yay Pokemon TCG coming soon to iPad :) ... not sure why I just bought the old GB one on 3DS but I did enjoy playing it on my GBC back in the day.
