AWD vs. 4WD vs. FWD vs. RWD

never driven so can't really comment :( most people i'd imagine will only have experience with FR with a few lucky MR drivers. and yeah it was an SL55 AMG.

AWD vs. 4WD vs. FWD vs. RWD

Everything - AWD. That being said I had a lot of fun in an RWD supercharged V8 recently... chirping tyres at the lights, leaving lots of smoke and then gunning past anyone and everyone.

Which country should I work at?

Op, what are you trying to achieve and what do you actually want out of all this? Different countries also have different advantages depending on which industry or job you want.

HELP: Is Commerce, Business, etc BORING?

The studies are as interesting as you choose to make them. I personally always found satisfaction in being able to relate theoretical concepts to tangible or known things in the real world which I've experienced such as understanding marketing strategies, why contracts have certain terms, why...

    BCom - Pen/Paper Vs. Laptop - Pros & Cons

I'd also add iPads with a stylus are not very precise instruments and from experience, is not the best writing tool because you often have to write in a 'writing area' which is a zoomed in section of a document on the screen. It was ultra convenient having my notes in PDF and backed up, and...

    BCom - Pen/Paper Vs. Laptop - Pros & Cons

Really have very limited (i.e. no) experience re engineering but I'd say laptops probably are useful if you have specialised software you need for engineering, or if the textbook/materials you need are interactive or only available in soft copy. Sound of laptop typing has become the norm but...

    BCom - Pen/Paper Vs. Laptop - Pros & Cons

Should caveat that not all subjects at UNSW have proper lecture slides provided (e.g. some lecturers just use the ones provided with your textbook, whilst others e.g. Geoffrey Knapp in Accounting 2B just dictated!), and other faculties (e.g. law) don't provide them at all.

    Accounting Vs Finance

I think it depends on type of finance work the Op is interested in. Some jobs (e.g. portfolio manager/reporting/analyst) use skills very similar to accounting (e.g. presentation and interpretation of financial/accounting data) whilst other jobs might be more driven by financial/quant modelling...

    BCom - Pen/Paper Vs. Laptop - Pros & Cons

This is a good balance. For the quant subjects (e.g. stats), trying to create and solve equations/etc on Word/Excel using the formula editor/etc will take up valuable time and more likely than not, distract you from actually learning the content at hand. The only time you really need a laptop is...

    BCom - Pen/Paper Vs. Laptop - Pros & Cons

If you're at UNSW, you print out lecture slides anyway and more often than not you'll be taking down notes alongside particular dot points on the slides. Laptop is good as it means you won't have to retype things and you can back it up easily, but nothing beats flexibility of jotting down notes...

Difference between economics in BCom and HSC economics

Pretty much the above. At tertiary level, economics is much more quantitative focused with formula and some graphs, very little theory/essay/extended response compared to HSC. It makes economics in high school look more like business studies (i.e. very wordy, memorise...

Sooooooo, Australia has been squirreled by GM

Just remember there are different 'arms' of each of these companies in Australia- e.g. the manufacturing facility, the materials/supplies company, the financing arm, etc... and pay careful attention to which entity is being reported on in the media.

AWD vs. 4WD vs. FWD vs. RWD

I've driven all four extensively- Terios was a crappy 4WD but my first car, Civic was my FWD on P's, Evo X AWD and now my C class is RWD. Agreed there is a bit of fun in plonking foot down and getting the tail to slide out a bit but I do miss the sure-footedness of AWD in all conditions. I...

    help!!! car accident opinion

He might have had rear parking sensors, or depending on how new/old (I'm not familiar with BMW X5 specs) a more advanced ultrasonic system. My car for example is from 2011 and has numerous ultrasonic sensors in the rear both for parking as well as preventing side collisions/blind spot warnings...

    Best Business Magazines Subscription Recommendations

I'd say it depends if you'd actually read it. When I was a student, I found BRW to be much more useful and enjoyable to read compared to AFR. The AFR is great if you read it daily and benefit from the level of detail it offers, but if you're trying to find things to relate to in your studies as...
