    iOS7. Who is excited?

I don't like the Music app's movement of the Airplay button to the command centre- takes more effort to get to same place.

    iOS7. Who is excited?

Installed iOS 7 onto my iPad 3 3g 64gb and it had a stuff up at first requiring a restore through iTunes (yay for backups), but then the 2nd try it worked. Seems ok. Feels a bit laggy :S But maybe it's just me.

    iOS7. Who is excited?

This seems to happen with every new iOS release. But that being said I heard there's a LOT of optional stuff which can be disabled in iOS7 to reduce battery drain.

    iOS7. Who is excited?

Given my iPad apparently is corrupted and causing issues, perfect time to update to iOS7 :)

    iOS7. Who is excited?

I think I'll wait until the masses have updated and checked no issues. I'm worried about some of my enterprise apps not being compatible. Even my banking's OTA authorisation token app won't be compatible yet.

    iOS7. Who is excited?

Reviews seem positive but hard to gauge because the reviews out now are all from companies which got early releases... and the reality is those publications wouldn't want to get on Apple's bad side so it's a bit biased IMO (even though I myself am an Apple fan).

    Employment Experience vs Foreign Exchange

I'd do overseas because it shows independence and agility. Work experience at this level isn't that important as long as you have some and can show how you learnt/developed from it.

    iOS7. Who is excited?

I think that'll come with time but the question is how will Apple take a cut from it- after all, if they control the fingerprint sensor, whichever 3rd parties get access to it will gain a huge competitive advantage.

    iOS7. Who is excited?

Wouldn't say they are absolutely first for fingerprint sensors either, but I've had to use a lot of different fingerprint scanners over the years and have yet to find one which works even 75% of the time (e.g. the swipe ones as well as the press your thumb onto a panel which looks a bit like a...

    5s or S4

True, but I think one thing I've realised with BYOD in a lot of organisations now (and even if you want to join some school/university networks) is that they prohibit use of any kind of custom or unofficial firmware other than what the manufacturers shipped the device with. There are always ways...

    5s or S4

Just feels 'too big'. I actually find the 4" optimal at the moment for my purposes as I have an iPad and a ultraportable laptop for work and consuming larger documents. My phone is really just for quick emails/texts/etc.

    Economics at Uni

I found eco really easy in the first few weeks of sem 1 and 2 where it's just macro/micro rehashed from HSC but then suddenly it becomes a lot more quantitative rather than qualitative focused. This may make it easier or harder for you depending on your own interests but for me, I actually lost...

    iOS7. Who is excited?

Apple may not have done a whole lot with the 5S but the thing which I want/need is the fingerprint sensor. I'm sick of having to use complex passwords for my firm's IT policy/profile. And besides, it means my 5S will use the same cables/chargers as my personal iPhone5 :) And apps and music. By...

Nokia Lumia 520 or BlackBerry Curve 9320?

c is for cheaper than the 5s, but probably still not cheap relative to other phones. iPhones are great at maintaining resale value though.

    5s or S4

5S. My company phone is up for renewal (yay time to get rid of my stupid Blackberry) so will go 5S when it launches. Besides, can use same cables/chargers as my personal phone (5). Tried using Android when a mate lent me his Note 2 but really wasn't a fan of the UI.

Can you go up the corporate ladder in big 4 with just a straight b.commerce? NO MBA..

Re: Can you go up the corporate ladder in big 4 with just a straight b.commerce? NO M MBAs aren't vital/must-haves but they could be what differentiates you from your peers. As others have mentioned though, and the same advice was given to me by a partner when I asked if I should do an MBA was...

Help, UTS - Business or UNSW - Commerce

If you were in it solely for the money, you probably wouldn't be wanting to do accounting in my opinion. Even at the upper echelons of accounting say at Senior Partner or CFO levels, the pay will still pale in comparison to a successful businessman or entrepreneur. At the end of the day...
