What car will you get as your first car?

Is that a driveaway price? I'm not surprised but would probably keep in mind the e92 will offer heavy discounting if you did go to buy it. I'd pick the C350 over it too. On another note, 3 series reviews > http://smh.drive.com.au/motor-news/bmw-3series--first-drive-20111122-1ns62.html

What car will you get as your first car?

What's your budget and are you talking new/used? I don't mind the Volvo C30 and it's quite reasonably priced for the amount of kit it has relative to other European cars. Given that both the Astra convertible and 318i aren't available anymore, i'm going to assume used. Convertibles have a lot of...

CA Program - Ask questions, get answers! (new and improved)

I think everyone is in a similar boat to you in that they appreciate the flexibility but don't like the loss of networking opportunity. The downside of the optional sessions is that the only people there will be those who feel the need to attend to network (which in a way, could be good since...

CA Program - Ask questions, get answers! (new and improved)

Debating what to do actually. Spoke with my Partner about it and whilst an MBA probably is more suitable, until I start managing decent sized teams, I may not get that much out of doing an MBA. I'll see how I feel when I get back from NY.

What car will you get as your first car?

Yes. Looks nice but not exciting enough to make me drool for it. In typical BMW fashion, most things aren't standard- it's worse than MB which at least includes quite a fair bit of kit.

Great find Azure- that's what I hope mine looks like (except in sedan)! EDIT: Found this gallery > http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2012-mercedes-benz-c-class-coupe-3/#photo-3930469/

    UNSW Bcomm or BComm/ECO??????

Interesting perspective because I found as time went on I found accounting level 2/3 subjects comparably easier than first year debits and credits.

CA Program - Ask questions, get answers! (new and improved)

They're not easy but they are very logical in the sense that there are no 'trick questions'. Everything which they examine can clearly be linked back to either a practice question or worked example included in the CLP (essentially the textbook) or readings.

    UNSW Bcomm or BComm/ECO??????

I found accounting, especially in the earlier years at uni, quite challenging and difficult to get good marks in (i.e. passes and bare credits). Contrasting this I did significantly better in finance subjects, and even economics with HDs. Somehow I ended up becoming quite good at accounting...

What car will you get as your first car?

Current gen Fiesta (i.e. based on same platform as Mazda2)? On another note, passed CA so matte wrap here I come! Also get a nice tiny bonus from work :)

Just won 100k on a TAB Multi, wat do?

If you were really creative you could spend $99k of that on finding a Cryogenic tube to freeze yourself for 1,000 years and put the remaining $1k in a bank account :) Try to pick a safe bank though. (ps. Yes I'm aware this wouldn't really work in practice due to unclaimed monies/deceased...

What car will you get as your first car?

I quite like the Fiesta. Not a fan of the Polo though as I feel the interior is too cheap in that class even if it is put together well.

What car will you get as your first car?

I drove the Malaysian version of the S16 with the 1.6L engine and it's pretty tinny. A bicycle fell on ours and it made a dent in the side if that's an indicator of how strong it is (or lack of). If it were my money I wouldn't be buying it.

What car will you get as your first car?

I really liked the Mazda2 actually. Test drove it for some friends a few years ago and came away feeling impressed. The Jazz wasn't too bad but felt underpowered/slow in comparison, but a lot more stable/weighty in the steering. I'd be keen to test drive some of the new Koreans as well but...

What car will you get as your first car?

The sub $20k segment is now becoming one of the most competitive... never would've thought this ten years ago. e.g. http://smh.drive.com.au/new-car-reviews/reviewed-kia-rio-si-20111115-1ng4p.html

    UNSW Bcomm or BComm/ECO??????

Depends why you are considering it. If you like economics and/or plan to make a career out of it, then sure, but if you're doing it just because you think it might help you get a grad job, I'd spend my time/money elsewhere. ps. I personally found economics in uni a lot harder than HSC and it...
