Depends what you want in the car. If you're more of a 'driving enthusiast' then the 7 series no doubt will be more dynamic and involving to drive (although if you were really a driving enthusiast and not just being chauffeured around, then I'd probably go for a grand tourer like the new 6 series...

Would it be fair to say the BMW 760Li is a lot cooler and trendier, and probably more of a driver's car (note: I haven't driven the current F01 gen 7 series but I did drive both the E38 and E65), but the S500 is still THE car.

Overall though I prefer the S Class in this category. It may not have the technical gadgetry which the 7 series has in terms of features list, but nothing screams "BOSS" like the Big Benz.

BMW 7 Series- I like the look, the features, and the fact that it's far more distinctly different from the other models within the lineup compared to the relationship between Audi models.

My personal solution was to always plan ahead and bring meals/snacks, but also to drive to give me a chance to drive to the nearby restaurants/fast food outlets between exams.
