    Good Cars in 50k-70k range

The X isn't too stiff IMO. On some bumpy roads it's a bit harsh but nothing a young strong fella like yourself can't handle. Besides, it also goes well on grass. WORK HARD.

    Good Cars in 50k-70k range

They're surprisingly quick. My mate was tossing up between that and the Evo X which were both roughly the same price before discounting for him (135i hadn't dropped in price yet) and after trying them both back to back, the 125i was the better choice for both him and the missus. The Evo lacks a...

    Good Cars in 50k-70k range

Isn't JCW based on the MCS which is turbo (i.e. not P Plater friendly?) If it were me, I'd be looking at the BMW 320i (or 323i depending on options) in coupe (looks hot; but sedan is cheaper and more practical) or the 125i (which is pretty fast for an N/A car which is P Plater friendly).

The PreUni trial selective school test (ASAT)

Outta interest why do you care so much about this? I mean I understand tutoring colleges and how much they can train one in the way of thought to ace the exam, but anyone who takes any kind of confidence or sets expectations based on an artificial or simulated selective high test are clearly...

    Internet Speed

I realised this drops down to 22.53Mb/s and 23.35Mb/s with a 25ms ping during office hours lol. Peak is still 86.3Mb/s from November 09.

    Microsoft Office 2010

See how long you last with OneNote :) I got sick of it within a week and it caused way too much drain of resources on my netbook. That being said, it's a really good concept especially for those with tablet PC's. ps. I still prefer pen & paper or Notepad.exe (faster to load up) but I'm a luddite.

    Ohh dear.. please help :(

Did you factor in labour charges of getting it installed? IMO don't know why you are absorbing the risks/costs for him. Would've budgeted a bit extra for that.

    Ohh dear.. please help :(

$210 sounds oddly cheap. I'm guessing it's literally for just the glass alone including fitment? Honestly though if it were me and my mirror got totally knocked off, I'd be getting a new one.

economics or business studies? (subject selection)

Eco is far more broad and at the end of the day, is a philosophy. It requires a bit more independent thought and also helps if you have an interest in the topics. If you're an avid consumer and want to know more about how things like interest rates, globalisation, protection, etc.. affect you...

    Discussion: Mac vs. PC

I still prefer my Xbox 360 for gaming. It's just easier having standardised controls, no requirement to do an installation (for most games), easy automatic updates if necessary, etc... It just works. And looks fantastic on a huge screen hooked up via HDMI. Considerably cheaper than a half...

Why did the douche cross the road?

I want an iPhone 4. My Nokia sucks.

    Why I hate Nokia now...

N97 Mini started turning off/resetting again and sometimes it takes a long time before email loads again (i.e. phone loads, but menus are blank and say "Folder is empty" and applications won't actually open even if you click on the shortcut). Maybe I should just move to Blackberry!

    Internet Speed

I'd be surprised if any large company which had super fast internet (myself included) which didn't limit/ban use of company internet to download large amounts of personal data, let alone copyright infringement (or other questionable content) which is what most people would presumably use it for...

    Microsoft Office 2010

Truth be told though, any particular reason why you want the new Office? A lot of the newer Office features are really only useful for collaboration with other people who have already got the latest Office. For me, 2007 hit the spot with the ribbon and easy to use features which make your...

    Accounting Cadetships 2010

Those would be national numbers and yes there is some turnover as people move into other divisions, go on secondments, or make the jump to the commercial sector. That, and business is continuously growing in line with economic growth which means we always need extra hands to help get the work done.

    UTS Bachelor of Accounting 2011

Depends on which firm(s) you have cadetships with, and if you really want to work with those firms or if you just want to try lots of different things. One offers diversity the other offers progression.
