    Evo vs STI (picture thread)

I feel the Evo X is both aggressive yet a little bit understated/toned down compared to the Rexes of past.

    Evo vs STI (picture thread)

It's a lot less boy racer. That picture won me over. In fact I have the original SMH/Drive article pinned up on my wall :)

    Evo vs STI (picture thread)

I'm a huge fan of the 04 and 05 STI's... my mate's one still gets my blood going when WOT. It just feels hectic (and looks great). Haven't sat in an 09/10 model yet but when the hatch first came out I sat in the MRT tuned model and found it was agro but nowhere near as frantic as the previous...

    what car do you drive?

200sx as in audm? aren't they the SR20DET engine (i.e. turbo)?

    Evo vs STI (picture thread)

The Evo still looks good to me compared to the new STI (disregarding performance here): But that being said despite the comparisons, after driving them I still think the Evo feels nicer.

Good to see we are in agreement.

    Greetings

Oddly enough I found it the other way around- harder at first but then progressively got easier as I got more into the swing of things, enjoying and appreciating course content, developed good study habits, did my readings (out of fear of failing perhaps?) and started joining the dots between...

How many past papers have you done?

You'll find that even after HSC, both uni and post-grad studies (e.g. CA) benefit greatly from becoming very familiar with past papers. There's only so many ways they can ask a question.

    Evo vs STI (picture thread)

True but at least there is some kind of warranty. Even the mid-range tunes (i.e. 360hp) have factory warranties in the UK.

    Evo vs STI (picture thread)

pity none of the 400hp models are available here. only way to get that sort of performance is through tuning houses (although that being said 400hp is available at several tuning houses). surprised me when mitsu announced the TMR editions of the X with the 247kW tune were available at dealerships.

    Evo vs STI (picture thread)

There's a few 22B's around but it's always POA... found a good condition one in a lot on Parra Rd a few months back! Very rare indeed.

    Tranferring iTunes library

Might be easier to use the HOME SHARING feature of the latest iTunes versions which let you basically move/transfer all your music/playlists across your network. Moving the music alone is easy but if you want to retain any playlists you either need to use the inbuilt HOME SHARING feature (which...

    Evo vs STI (picture thread)

I thought Holden vs Ford is too cliched so here comes the more important challenge. Feel free to add your own photos to this thread! Evo's: STI's: ps. Has anyone Googled "STI". I almost forgot what it also stood for ROFL. URL: sti - Google Search (hint: look at pink suggested links at top)

    P's test at Castle Hill

I think it's best not to think about things like that. Only distracts you further.

    Ohh dear.. please help :(

    Congrats. You deserve this one.

I probably shouldn't be posting this

Let's not forget this list not a listing of where they can ONLY appear... they can still go elsewhere :)

    Good Cars in 50k-70k range

Way to wish for the inevitable. jkjk Ironically I have the newest car of the lot yet I've been back to Mitsu for warranty issues several times :( And it's made in Japan!

    Good Cars in 50k-70k range

Only thing which surprises me is the 1 series doesn't even come with the full blown level of kit you'd expect as standard. But I guess that's the way Bimmers go.

    Good Cars in 50k-70k range

Buy a 320i Beemer then. Much nicer interior. On an $80k Evo X, you're paying $70k for the engine and drivetrain (and the Recaros) and $10k for the interior.

    Good Cars in 50k-70k range

Noone buys an Evo for the interior. That being said it's a huge step up over prior models and the STI which just look crap. I still LOL that the heated leather Recaros with CF cost $10k.
