    Best Car Video on Youtube?

I like the videos which show skidpan training days and what they actually teach you to do. e.g. Instructors teaches you car control, how to come to a stop the car at an angle you want, etc... skills which I think many young drivers would benefit from. It's not that pro (and it's no Ken Block)...

    Domino's Hot Sandwiches

I've eaten enough Subways for my lifetime so far and my overall comment about whether they fall apart is that it depends on how much content you have and whether it's toasted or not (or how long before you eat it). Reason is it can get soggy especially if not toasted and that makes things stick...

    HPT Hazard Perception Test

I prefer to print it at home and fill it in beforehand :) But upto you. I don't like having to think about other things on the day.

    Decision time!

I will add one thing though- if you don't plan on modifying/changing your headunit, the steering wheel audio controls are awesome. I've got it in both my cars and can't imagine life without it because it's much safer/easier to operate the music this way. For me music is a big part of driving...

    Decision time!

Hmmm... I'd say go for the Yaris based on everything so far in this thread. It sounds like the car you both want and feel most comfortable with. In terms of which model to go for, the 1.5L will probably grow with you a lot better as whilst the 1.3L may have been sufficient when you first started...

    Ford F6 vs Ferrari 348

I'd also go STI. More my kinda car. But an old school Jag if it was in really good condition and not about to break down would be awesome.

    Decision time!

Silly question but isn't the Yaris 5dr like $16k driveaway atm according to the TV adds (for the manual)? How's it end up at 22k? Elaborate? If it were me I'd pick Corolla as it has better resale value and will last a while, but both the Corolla and Yaris are great.

    Ford F6 vs Ferrari 348

'sif not pick the Ferrari on the presumption it's in good nick and all that. No point being a Top Gear episode with an outdated non-working supercar!

Sam Newman calls for 120km/h speed limit

Unfortunately none of the roads mentioned are roads I take very regularly if at all. Only those familiar with the roads from experience can really comment on speed limits and I'm not one of them.

How do internet adds know where I live?

I don't get how it works... aren't IP addresses everywhere? Is there something about them which says this IP is from Chatswood or Crestwood? And no I don't click on it. Not on my work laptop anyway ;)

How do internet adds know where I live?

After seeing so many adds which offer girls in my area and even know what suburb I'm from (or they pick a neighbouring one), I was wondering how do they know? I'm guessing it's something to do with IP addresses and locations but... not really sure. Anyone know?

Sam Newman calls for 120km/h speed limit

Er.... there are some roads where the speed limits are higher than what it should be. Maybe this is one of them. I am not familiar with it though.

Sam Newman calls for 120km/h speed limit

I wish we still had the central Australia without a speed limit. That would be awesome.

Sam Newman calls for 120km/h speed limit

i personally would like an independent review on how they set speed limits because in some areas it's definitely too high whilst others it's far too low. alot of drivers have an inherent ability to drive at a speed suiting the road/conditions and it's when the speed set is too far off from these...

Sam Newman calls for 120km/h speed limit

Sorry to play devil's advocate here but maybe learners shouldn't be on the highway just yet if they are still intimidated by such things. Agreed it is daunting but you gotta learn- probably best to wait until you have a lot more confidence in your driving/handling of car though.

    V6 and V8

I don't think this applies to new drivers though who might squeeze the pedal too hard and without the aid of traction control/stability control, could find themselves somewhere unexpected (either not going anywhere or going somewhere else). I personally tend to accelerate when lanes merge but...
