i have a question veternadoggy. you believe that humans exist on earth for 6000 years or so, so why has allah waited for over 4000 years to bring a prophet to talk about islam?
why didnt he instruct someone else who was a prophet from day 1? Why would he let people live and forming beliefs of other gods and even incourage polytheism by many countries.

this only leads me to believe that islam is just another religion who wants to create theri own god. except it had a head start to the cults we have these days.

from the descent of adam to this world, up until the death of the prophet muhammad, there has always been prophets sent to humans. adam was the first prophet obviously, then as society became less thinking of allah, he sent another prophet to them to wake them up again. this has been happening since adam came to earth, but the quran only gives the names of 25 specific ones. noah was a prophet, abraham, the builder of the oldest place of worship, was a prophet, jesus and muhammad are from ibrahims descent, and they were prophets. there are like i said 25 names in the quran, but only muhammad, jesus, david, and another prophet that came with a message. the other prophets came to place the people back on track, and to follow the book sent down latest. you might ask "who came to put christians back on track?" the answer is that the prophets werte sent down in pairs, and muhammad and jesus were the last pair, so no one came between them, and no one will come after them.

also the prophets came to specific people and tribes, all except for muhammad, which came for all mankind.

it says of a comforter in the bible, and ALOT of interpretations of that has lead to muhammad. and if they are true christians, they would believe in muhammad being the comforter and follow him.

jesus didnt say that he was the son of god, priests who were "editing" the bible did.

all that he said is true. unfortunately not all of it has been passed down. and why would god let his son "die on the cross?" couldnt jesus have just asked his "dad" to forgive christians and he would have done so? sasha, you think you arent brainwashed, but when you argue for other religions you are just as "brainwashed" as anyone you claim to be brainwashed

the jews of madinah used to mock the pagans there (pre-islam), because there were two tribes in madinah, and they were in the middle of a vendatta, and they were basically wiping themselves out. the jews used to always tell them that "a prophet is going to come down to us and we are going to rule over you and kill you." these two tribes were scared, but couldnt end the vendetta because it had gone out of hand. but when they heard of the prophet muhammad looking for a place to reside, the pagans went to him and asked him to live with them. he agreed on the condition that the two tribes stopped fighting and immediately became brothers. they instantly agreed, and hence the migration to medinah. when the jews found out that he was the prophet, they didnt follow him because he was of poor arab descent, and not a wealthy jew, which, added to their conspiracies, later led to their exile.

i know that muslims think god is only one, but then you say you believe that jesus was a prophet, well if you believe in jesus , then you should believe what jesus sais, and that is that " he is the son of god.

if anyone its islam that is mixing religions by including jesus and other prohpets in their beliefs
