    Uni degrees

True, but at graduate level, how long does it take to assess those qualitative attributes? I'm not saying employers are biased but there are some realities here that those aspects will be considered at the interview stage, but whether you get an interview or not in the first place can...

You lost your school cert results? Whilst I doubt the actual results matter that much other than it shows you've got a good academic track record, the fact that you've lost your official results leads to a bigger question of whether or not you're well organised- i.e. I'd be prepared to have an...

    Uni degrees

Whilst the courses and majors may have the same names, each university teaches to their own curriculum and the only thing which keeps them remotely in line is the post graduate qualifications which mandate some of the content in order to be eligible (e.g. CA, CFA, etc). The other thing which...

Just remember that you can embellish all you like now, but if you get to an interview and you had a shoddy example in your CV/application, you'll be hard pressed to elaborate on it when asked! Always have enough up your sleeve for anything you put in writing to add more depth or value to...

At the end of the day most things like these are filled on a first in, best dressed sort of basis. That is, if they like people at the assessment centres/interviews, offer roles and fill up the spots, then such is life.

    Thoughts on importing JDM cars?

Let's not forget the 370z is considered a high performance 6 cylinder and hence no go for a P Plater.

1612 is more like comprehension than anything else. 1613 is a lot harder and requires thought. 2624 requires even more thought.

This. I'd also add that it's as interesting as you choose to make it. Plenty of people climb the ranks in audit thinking it's nothing more than a tick and bash exercise without really appreciating the bigger and broader picture. Whether it's the deep understanding you can gain over industries...

My experience with GENS4010 - Science and Religion

GENS4010 Science and Religion - interesting content but a bit biased in favour of Christians (not much info on other religions which is what I wanted to learn about) - science content seems deep but you can pick it up very easily with a bit of Googling and Wiki - subject rewards independent...

At the end of the day the interviewer is also trying to suss out whether or not you are likely to accept if you were offered a role. No point lying.
