    New phone dilemma...

I'm an avid Nokia fan at heart... been using them for more than 10 years now. Anyhow, if you can stand SonyEricsson, they have heaps of great phones (non smart phones though) at decent prices with good features. Me? I can't stand the UI, and I just feel awkward using them. Also I feel...

    Nokia N93 vs. N80 vs. N73 vs. E70

I also didn't realise Next-G was 3.5G... thought it was just their way of branding their traditional 3G service, much like how they tried to flog i-mode as being almost 3G. Anyhow, I think it's come down to N80 vs N93 purely because I realised how important wifi is. After thinking some more...

    Accounting Skills Q

LOL well hypothetically, 10 years experience post-uni... I'd say one would've finished CA and be at least (a very high up) Manager. Most would probably either be Snr Manager or Director- with the rest of them leaving the professional services firm to pursue the private sector.

    Nokia N93 vs. N80 vs. N73 vs. E70

I agree with you about the hot factor of surfing net from couch. Although practically speaking, it'll probably become crap like surfing the net on PSP wifi, the instant email notification via pop3 is very attractive. If I could, I'd go N95. But I'm thinking after thinking about my need for...

    Accounting Skills Q

Senior should be much higher IMO.... there are quite a few surveys out there so go have a look around or even search BoS forums. And I'm interpretting that as 1 year as a senior, but that figure seems a bit "low". Did you mean <$120k or >$120k?

    Nokia N93 vs. N80 vs. N73 vs. E70

I'm actually very interested in N95- if it was out, I'd pick that for sure. But then I'd also want that Maps program with inbuilt satnav (save me from having to buy a satnav myself or the GPS program/etc.. for s60). As it stands, I'm still undecided between N73 and N80. Which one do you guys...

    Nokia N93 vs. N80 vs. N73 vs. E70

You guys raised the same issues I got from reading the net... I'd like wifi, but then chances are I probably wouldn't really need it since the screen isn't that big. The only thing which I'd really want wifi for is so I could get my PC to synchronise from far away in my house or at work to...

    Accounting Skills Q

To get partner... isn't that easy LOL. As for urbandictionary- look up names of any Big4 or corporation and see what it says. It does make you wonder what sad person out there went and submitted it. On a sidenote, the salaries for audit aren't really that high (it all depends on firm...

    Top 'speed' done and where?

Maybe Camry's are just practical in that people who tend to drive a Camry, are unlikely to ever reach the 180 mark (or if it's even possible) and might as well make the rest of the scale "bigger and easier to read" =]

    Any evo fans?

Do you know which Evo we get in Australia? After reading around on the net, it seems that in other countries, there are multiple specs of Evos... is that what you're talking about with the "Evo IX RX"? I thought it had numbers in the special designation... *shrugs*

    Euro vs Civic Sports

I think Mazda's build quality has dipped alot, or it's just not as impressive as it used to be. Regardless though, if you like SP23's design and the specs meet your needs- maybe that's the car to go for?

It's great being an auditor isn't it :) As I'm not entirely sure on the ASX/ASIC thing, I better not comment!

    Nokia N93 vs. N80 vs. N73 vs. E70

So many Nokia models nowadays... what happened to the time where it was easy to pick a model? Any tips?

    Euro vs Civic Sports

Unlike Euro Sport, the Civic Sport is actually quite different to the normal Civic. IMO, if you like the Civic, then the Civic Sport makes a good thing even better- the engine is a bit better but is by no means a performance car (2.0L engine with paddle shifting is nice but IMO, at 5k on the...

    Double degrees and accounting cadetships

I think there are many other factors which come into play there. Based on what I've seen in audit though, the cadetship accelerates you upto Manager; but beyond that, it's criteria-based. I wouldn't say it's twice the pace though.

    Double degrees and accounting cadetships

I guess on the other hand you also have to consider, if you have 6 years work experience as well as the double degree, will that really improve your future prospects? Of course it will- but then, if your primary motivation (or comparison unit) is money, I'm not sure if the remuneration bonus...

    Accounting Skills Q

ROFLMAO... You sound pretty darn smart based on your sig. Don't forget, high schools nowadays have lots of decent spec PC's usually hooked up to a decent server which makes them perfect CS, UT, etc.. machines. Don't let that opportunity slip by because once you start working- gaming is something...

    Any evo fans?

Evo kit is one thing- but not all cars which are done up with body kits are necessarily wannabes of the performance models. I mean.. a Holden Barina with a body kit (i'm talking the new model here) is still a Barina.
